Singer and multi-instrumentalist Timo C. Engel a.k.a Bleedingblackwood releases his second album "(If You See The Sky) You're Almost There", a song cycle about farewell, loss and death.

While the debut allowed itself one or two slips into lightness, his new album consistently goes into the darkness, feels for noise and listens to the silence between the tones.
Once the eyes adjust to the darkness, the images and stories that these intimate sounds and voices evoke unfold.

In his minimalist bedroom recordings, the focus is on the impressive voice, which is often structured as a chorale, the instruments come and go, float and decorate the almost percussion-free songs, as do some guest musicians.

Timo C. Engel uses sounds to trace the farewell to a loved one.
Where words fail, sounds transcend pain into beauty.
